After a long time the SHSH-blobs saver, TinyUmbrella gets updated which wasn’t seen since the Cupertino company announced and released several iOS 6 betas this summer. In support for the new Apple Software update, TinyUmbrella updates to the latest version. Check this out after the jump!
This news comes straight from the notcom, the utility’s creator wrapped off this week by announcing that TU has finally been updated to support new iOS software update. Not only that it works with all the iPhone 4, 4S, 3GS, iPad 2, new iPad (3rd-gen) and the latest iPhone 5 smartphone along with iOS 6 and the latest Apple TV firmware as well.
Speaking of the TinyUmbrella, which works with the Gold Master version of iOS 6 (GM), and sure will work with the final iOS 6 released, today.
Before you get into upgrading your iDevices to the latest iOS 6, launch TinyUmbrella and Save SHSH blobs for iOS 5.1.1, so that you can easily downgrade to it later, becuase you are not going to get any untethered jailbreak from Redsn0w or Pod2g’s Absinthe this soon. You are going to wait for months for the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak.
Note: If you’re an OS X user, then you will notice that the TinyUmrella’s package is changed. Due to Gatekeeper feature in Mountain Lion, TU now comes as a zip file, rather than an installer.
You can now download TinyUmbrella v6.0 from here with the support of GM and iOS 6. The latest version is advised to run it before you upgrade to the public iOS 6 firmware today.
