Few days ago we shared you an installation of CyanogenMod 10 (Android 4.1 Jelly Bean) on Samsung’s flagship Android handset, the Galaxy S III GT-i9300. Now, according to the recent report the Korean Electronics are working hard to get an OTA 4.1 Jelly Bean update for their Galaxy S3 smartphone, which may land sometime in August or September.
The official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was already pushed for Google’s Nexus S a day back and also made available for Galaxy Nexus, the Samsung’s handset was first to come with installed Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The company also apparently said that not only the Galaxy S III will be updated to Android Jelly Bean 4.1.x version firmware but also testing out updating the Samsung Galaxy S II as well. Possible that the device will get the update soon.
Samsung have yet to announce that the Galaxy S II will get updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, let us hope the testing goes fine, and expected that Samsung will be also working hard to get the latest 4.1.1 Jelly Bean (JB) update for device as it is still a popular variant for the Electronics company.
This upgrade news have to be confirmed by Samsung, when the newest SGS III device of the Samsung Galaxy range will get the Android 4.1 JB update. Stay tuned so that we can update the latest news here about all up-gradations and installation officially available.
