Google’s Nexus 6 Phablet Designed For Android 5.0 Lollipop Announced


The Mountain View giant has officially introduced the world with Motorola-made Nexus 6, an mammoth screened smartphone that could easily be mistaken for a tablet-cum-smarthone.

The Google Nexus 6 is all set to go on sale as to be among the first devices to get the new version of Android, named it the 5.0 Lollipop. Samsung Chromebook 2 With Intel Bay Trail Now Available To Buy At $249, Pre-Order Now!

When Samsung released its first Chromebook it was far thin,and light, and powered by a great battery life and this year’s Chromebook 2 shipped with the company’s Exynos 5 Octa chipset, which makes this diferent kind of computer the best.


Introduced with Intel Celeron N2840 Bay Trail processor, the Samsung’s Chromebook 2 is powered by a Intel chipset clocked at 2.58GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM, whereas the models running Samsung’s own chip feature 4GB ROM inside.

It said that Samsung has made some improvements when it comes to the Chromebook 2’s durability and construction, each of the four corners is now reinforced by metal, as are the USB ports, a metal frame behind the display. Measuring at 11.4? x 8.6? x 0.66? and weighs 2.65 pounds, got 16GB of internal storage, and an 11.6-inch display sporting of 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution screen. Connectivity options include Intel HD Graphics, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 ac, a HDMI port, 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 port.

Overall, the Chromebook 2 should be able to endure daily travels and the occasional bump just fine. Point to be noted, its not waterproof or resitant, still go no protections against liquids. But got pretty subpar viewing angles and just doesn’t look as nice as the 1080p screen in the 13-inch, non-Intel model.

Those unfamiliar with Chromebooks, Samsung has partnered Google for a new “Google Hel” app. It’s essentially Amazon Mayday for Chromebooks; hit the button and you’re connected over video chat for support representative at Samsung’s North Carilina operations center. From there onwards, you’ll be able to take control over your screen to show how to accomplish common tasks, chage settings, or fix any problems you might be experiencing.

Unlike Amazon service which is available 24/7, Samsung’s representatives will be available to help the users from Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT. In order to enable it, users need to sign up their ChromeBook 2, type “Chrome Help” in the adress bar and dwonload the update. In return, it will bring the Get Help button at the bottom left corner of the Chromebook screen.

Pre-orders for the Intel-powered Chromebook 2 start today and Samsung says it will be widely available through retail channels next week. Final word, it’s not the most powerful Chromebook out there by and stretch, but it’s built to last and runs for up to 9 hours on a charge.

The new Samsung Chromebook 2 priced at $249, pre-orders with an expected shopping next week and as per the listing,  the shipping estimates to be 10 to 14 business days.

Oppo’s ColorOS 2.0 Released For Find 7 And Find 7a – Download Now

Oppo has finally started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat-based ColorOS 2.0 firmware for Find 7 and Find 7a. Now available to download and install on the Chinese manufacturer’s duo of top-end smartphones. The OS appeared in beta form for the Oppo Find 5 back in August, now with the new version of ColorOS brings a plethora of new features such as redesigned user interface, improved task manager, super power saving mode, memory cleaner, and much more.

Sony’s PS4 Remote Play Now Reportedly Coming To Xperia Z2 And Z2 Tablet

Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 4 Remote Play exclusively for some select Xperia smartphones, such as Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and Z3 Tablet Compact. Now, it seems that Sony is expanding its compatibility for more Xperia handsets, and that the company is planning to roll out support as well.

About the PS4 Remote Play support for existing Xperia devices, Sony has unofficially confirmed this via Xperia Launge app, which clarifies that the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet will be receiving the PlayStation 4 Remote Play functionality just after its launched in November later this year.

However, it doesn’t mentioned on which Xperia devices will be going to work with the remote, though. Good news here is that both the Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet will be getting support for PS4 Remote Play in the coming days.

Currently, there’s no official confirmation from the Japanese OEM about the PS4 Remote Play availability for Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet. Stay tuned to Vsszone, so that we can grab something new info regarding the PS4 Remote Play support for both the Xperia Z2 smartphone and tablet.

Sony SmartWatch 3 (SWR50) Lands On The Google Play Store For Availability

Although it’s not the first one from Sony, rather the fifth-generation smartwatch which the company completely reversing the stance with the introduction of an Android Wear-powered wearable, called it the SamrtWatch 3 which quietely made its way to the Google Play Store. The Japanese manufacturer’s first Android Wear device, the Sony Smartwatch 3 is however listed on the Play Store, but showing as coming soon.

In March 2014, Sony has joined the Android Wear party with its own smartwatch software with the likes of Samsung, LG, Motorola and the company intends to add a Walkman app for music playback via a Bluetooth headset along with a remote control app for audio you’re playing on another device. The 1.6-inch ytransflective LCD display is also not perfectly bright or more impressive though. making for a disappointing first impression – when compared to the likes of Moto 360 or LG G Watch R. With a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, the SmartWatch 3 comes with a 4GB ROM built-in storage, and a quad-core 1.2GHz processor powered by a 420mAh battery on-board. Sony promises that will provide up to two days of typical usage.

The wearable gadget is priced at $249.99 Pricing in Europe is set at 229.99 and availability is expected this autumn. Yet another member is already sitting behind this Sony’s SmartWear family, and it’s the new SmartBand Talk. Features a 1.4-inch e-paper display like the Pebble, and its biggest new inclusion is its HD Voice support with an integrated microphone and speakers to let you make a phone call directly on the band itself.

Interesting part on the new SmartBand Talk would be the that it lets you remotely control music on other devices and start / stop it with a snap of your fingers. Sensor?

Built with Sony’s usual fitness-tracking software, which in particular, aided by the inclusion of an altmeter that can eventually recognize the elevation of your runs or star climbs. The SmartBand Talk will go on sale in the autumn, prced at 159.99 Euros. Xolo One With 3G, Andoid 4.4.2 KitKat Launched For Rs. 6599

Xolo has launched the Xolo One as the company’s latest budget-range smartphone added to its lineup of attractive priced smartphone. Dubbed Xolo One is not an Android One-powered handset, costs just a $105, making it one of the most affordable KitKat-running smartphone around.


Key point to be noted here is that, the company has commited to updating the Xolo One to Android 5.0 Lollipop later on, and making it one of the cheapest tickets to Google’s latest ride. However, the hardware of the smartphone isn’t quite as impressive. Take a look at it, below!

Xolo with this one is not going to be an Android One phone created in partnership with Google anyhow, but could become the first low-end Android Lollipop smartphone.

iPad mini 3 Announced With Touch ID Fingerprint Scanner, Price Starts At $399

iPad Air 2 wasn’t the only tablet introduced at yesterday’s Apple event, but the company has also announced iPad mini 3. Features, specs, pricing and release date detailed below!

With a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and with a number of other quirks, following the successful roll-out, Apple having allowed third-party developers to integrate the still-fledging hardware into their apps, iPad mini 3 users will certainly experience the same functionality as those on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple Pay online payments authentication via Touch ID is also supported.


Clocking at the same 7.5mm thin, iPad mini 3 design will be the same as its predecessor. However, it misses out the so-called “Retina HD” display and with the 2048 x 1536 resolution of the new smaller slate – identical to the official Retina iPad mini. iPad Air 2 With A8X SoC, Touch ID Fingerprint Sensor Announced [Price & Availability]

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Hits India, Pre-orders At Rs. 58300

Samsung has finally launched its next-generation Note series phablet, the Galaxy Note 4 in India. Pre-orders already kicked of and will ship out on October 17. Delayed date for the UK launch. Pricing is rather steep, starting at INR58,300 (roughly $950).

The Samsung phablet has hit the Indian market hust ahead of festive season, Diwali and will face a big competition from Apple’s first and foremost phablet device, the iPhone 6 Plus. Vodafone is offering up to 2GB of data per month for subscribers who are not active on data packs. Suscribers with active data ones will only get up to 1GB per month.

Commenting at the launch, Asim Warsi, VP, mobile and IT, Samsung India, said,

The new device exhibits people inspired innovation with its unique combination of an enhanced S Pen, large and vivid display and superior productivity features to provide the most refined Galaxy experience to our customers.”

Galaxy Note 4, which is one of the top-end phablet in Samsung’s segment – sports a 5.7-inch full HD (1080x1920p) display and it is a Quad-HD screen resolution. Despite its higher res-display, Samsung says that the Galaxy Note 4 will deliver 7.5% more battery life that its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3, why? Due to an optimized interface. Sporting a 3,220mAh battery, it also features a fast-charging technology, which makes the battery go from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset, which would be the mammoth and powerful processor in the world. Paired with 3GB of RAM, and the only storage option now is 32GB, with support for 64GB microSD cards for expandable space.
