Officially on October 16th event, Apple has announced iPad Air 2 as the world’s thinnest tablet with just a 6.1mm thin and of course the send-generation iPad Air. Now, the sixth 9.7-inch slate that Apple has finally unveiled. Full details after this fold!
With the fastest processor ever, the iPad Air 2 was wrapped off. Touch ID first made its debut with last year’s iPhone 5s, exclusive for semaless unlocking got integrtaed to the new iPad Air successor. Users can, for instance, set the feature to skip the tiresome process of keying in Apple ID passwords. And with iOS 8 bringing third-party apps integration like 1Password and the many mobile banking utilities alreay taken in action completely.
The iPad Air 2 does finally hit the market with the Apple’s Fingerprint sensor, while it’s not as useful on the iPad or on the iPhone either. Neccessity upgrade in many opinion, though. The Touch ID sensor can be used particulary for making purchases online via Apple Play. Payment system, online!
Design of the new iPad Air successor looks same as it predescessor, but it’s 10 percent thinner than the previous generation iPad at 6.1mm. The silent switch which has adorned the iPad’s side above the volume keys has now been removed.
Processor on the new thinner iPad tablet includes an A8X CPU, which could be na upgrade when talking about the variant of the A8 found in the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. iPad Air 2 gets a slightly better performance to cope with the demand of the larger tablet.
In fact, in terms of performance, the new iPad Air 2 is far 12X faster than the first iPad, and speaks about the graphics arena we should see its performing boost of 180x when compared to the first Apple slate.
Display, however remains the same as its predecessor’s resolution and sharpness. But some suspected that the iPad Air would follow the new iPhones (2014) with Apple’s so called “Retina HD” technology, but it doesn’t makeover. The current 2048×1536 configuration is plenty “Retina” and “HD” enough.
Camera, the iPad Air 2 boasts an 8-megapixel iSight rear-facing sensor, given something legitimacy as a device apt for capturing photos and recording videos. Software on the iPad Air 2 will run on iOS 8 out of the box and if looking for all-round productivity on Apple’s famed mobile software, then the Air 2 is arguably the more favorable choice as opposed to the mini 3.
Storage wise, just like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the iPad Air is now available to buy in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB storage configurations. Colors in three options: Space Gray, Silver and Gold.
Accessories for the iPad Air 2 includes Smart Covers and Smart Cases. You can buy it sdeperately directly from the Apple, and goes on sale in seven different color options.
