Obi has officially launched two new Android smartphones, the Flacon S451 and Fox S453, which are now listed on company’s website for sale. No word regarding the price nor the availability have been mentioned though. However, we can expect the company will reveal their new handsets in the coming days, officially.
The Obi Falcon S451 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that supports one regular SIM and one Micro-SIM. Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, it comes with a 4.5-inch (540×960 pixels) qHD IPS display, powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek (MT6572) SoC paired with 1GB of RAM, includes a 4GB ROM on board.
With an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, the smartphone has got the ability to rotate up to 206 degrees, and could lock at any angle. Offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options and packs a 2200mAh battery, measuring at 131×66.3×8.9mm. Listed in just White color.
The dual-SIM (regular SIM + Micro-SIM), the Obi Fox S453 runs the more recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. It comes with a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA TFT IPS display. Packs a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Features a 5-megapixel rear fixed-focus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. Supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
It’s bacjed up by a 1600mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time. It measures 131.7x64x9mm and is also listed in just White colour.
