Flipkart, which exclusively launched the Motorola Moto G in India, has now confirmed that the ‘Moto X is coming soon’. According to the tweet, it also promises exciting launch day offers as well, similar to ones seen with the Moto G India launch in February 2014.

The Moto X, officially launched in August last year and was the first Motorola smartphone after Google had acquired the company. Motorola Moto X purely focused on user experience, rather than competing in the specifications race. Running close to a stock Android OS, it however got the hardware and software difference. Although, Motorola has also offered a huge range od customizations for users to make their Moto X genuine (unique) and stand out in the crowd.

Moto X In India Launch
As mentioned above about the customization of the Moto X via its website called Moto Maker. But unfortunatey, Flipkart confirmed in response to a query that users in India will not get a chance to customise their phone, and said the phone “will come with a fixed set of five colours & two wood variants.”

Backup on the specifications, the Moto X features a 4.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels with a pixel density of 312ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960Pro Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage. It also sports a 10-megapixel rear camera accompanied by an LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front it was initially offered with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, but is upgradable to 4.4 KitKat, which already received last year.

Pricing of Moto X in India when compared to other nations around the globe. Launched in the US carrying a $579 (Rs. 35,000 approximately), but the price was recently slashed to $399 (Rs. 24,000 approximately). While a sub-Rs. 25,000 price tag in India would be ideal, it’s more likely that the phone will be priced around the Rs. 28,000 mark.
