Lenovo Vibe X2 Teased With Android Lollipop For September 4th Launch Event

Lenovo seems set to launch its Vibe X2 smartphone with Android L. Disclosed by sending lollipop-featuring invites for its September 4 pre-IFA 2014 event. The invites sent out also contains a tongue-in-cheek reference to Apple’s September 9 invite, which had said:

Based on the leaks, the Vibe X2 would be posing the same specifications as its predecessor, the Vibe X, except a bumped-up CPU. With the Vibe X2 launch invite, Lemovo finally revealed the original name of Android L – is Lollipop, and not as rumored Lemon Meringue Pie. Google have to confirm that, isn’t it? And not the revelation partner of Google be taken as consideration.
