The production of the next big Apple’s iOS smartphone rumored it the iPhone 5S eventually begins, according to this speculation that surfaced today. Recent reports points the iPhone 5S has already gone into production and it is expected to launch in August 2013.
The iPhone 5S is purely expected to come with the same design as the last years iPhone 5 handset, according to Macotakara and will be updated internal components which will include a new processor and extra storage memory as well.
The production of iPhone 5S would be a collaborated mixture with Apple’s manufacturing partner Faxconn. According to a Japan-based report, the iPhone 5S production has already kicked off, a Japanese-language Apple blog reported today.
Foxconn has begun “partial production” of the iPhone 5S, a “reliable source” has told Macotakara. Both MacRumors and AppleInsider cited the report earlier today.
This Japanese blog also claims that NTT Docomo is cutting back orders for Android devices to make a way for introduction of the iPhone, reason is the NTT Docomo does not carry any iPhone model yet.
Rumored that the camera on the iPhone 5S is expected to get a significant update over the iPhone 5. Whatever it is, it would make sense for limited production to begin in March. The 5S may use a new A7 Apple chip, a better camera based on a LED technology referred to as “Smart Flash, a fingerprint chip and many more to support China’s time-division duplexing (TDD) standard, reportedly accomplished.
