Install Siri On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPod touch With Free i4Siri Proxy For Spire Tweak

The most innovating feature Apple launched with the iPhone 4S in October 2011 is probably the “Siri” and many developers and hackers worked hard to get that Voice assistant on to the iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 1, and the iPod touches. Several other tweaks were available to install the Siri intelligent assistant software which attempted to make life easier by being able to accomplish tasks given to it through a simple voice command.

The Siri software is ready and able to take spoken orders which can range from setting meetings up in the calendar, checking the location of friends and family or even pulling up a weather forecast for most locations in the world.

The said assistant is deeply embedded throught iOS that is able to intract with a number of native applications, offering enhanced user experience. The Siri assistant is only made officially available by Apple for those who purchase an iPhone 4S. Siri required the more powerful processing power of the A5 processor, but considering Siri has been made available on older generation devices by the jailbreak community and seems to function without issue.

The most popular option for older generation Siri access is the Spire tweak from Cydia, developed by Grant Paul who is better known for his Zephyr and Infini series of extensions for jailbroken devices. The main issue with Spire is that only provides the Siri GUI, and relies 100% on a functioning proxy server and data from a registered iPhone 4S to operate, which made something difficult, due to Apple shutting down the access provided bt certain 4S devices as it is generating thousands of requests.

Here’s another tweak, Install Siri alternative to iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad 1, iPod Touch 4G, iPod touch 3G. Download Sara now from Cydia.

Few weeks ago, we already informed about the i4Siri project that allows you to install Siri on iPhone, original iPad and the iPod touches using Spire and proxy server technique. Now its out and available in a simple manner, you can install the “awesome” Siri on your old generation iOS devices right now.

About i4Siri: Its not a Siri port on your older device.i4Siri is a smart Siri server which needs Siri to be ported on your device first. i4Siri servers now available to the public for free and it doesn’t require you to have a registered iPhone 4S.

However, Spire requires your device running on the iOS 5 or above and you will be facing issues with i4Siri servers due to huge load on the servers but it works perfectly by the time being.
