Samsung has successfully added the Apple’s iPhone 5 to its newest patent battle with the Cupertino company in the past and today accused several more products of the Apple company products of infringement – including the iPad mini. Samsung recently filed new documents with the court, which also include Apple’s new 4th-generation iPad and also their new iPod Touch 5G. Check the details after the jump!
Samsung and Apple both are like biggies and everytime battles in the process of suing each other. Now, Samsung has added Apple’s new iPad mini to its lawsuit against Apple. Samsung, the company asked to include Apple’s 7.9-inch tablet along with the latest versions of the iPod Touch and iPad; these devices are accused of infringing the same patent which already in play in the case.
Samsung also saying that the new iPad Mini, iPod Touch (5th-gen) and the new iPad 4 are infringing the same patents as the devices, which was already in the lawsuit between both companies earlier this year, but this second lawsuit will likely go to trial sometime next year.
Apple has also accused the Galaxy Nexus, the Galaxy S III and some other products, while Samsung has returned with its own accusations in kind. However, these latest devices won’t be officially included until the request is approved by US Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal.
Without any surprise, Samsung has decided to add Apple’s latest devices to the infringement list of lawsuite and what will happen, we will be going to see in coming future. (Source The Verge)
