Here comes the actual news, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 now gets official and didn’t kept it secret by announcing its latest Tegra 3 Android tablet, Acer with it’s 1920 x 1200 10.1-inch ICS Tegra 3 arrived to face the Apple’s new iPad owners with a 2048 x 1536 screen. Earlier we were aware of Acer’s new Android-powered tablet called “Iconia A700 Tegra 3” and now its officially announced and the Acer device will be available to pre-order today.
Acer Iconia A 700 features a 10.1″ touchscreen with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, means it can handle full HD recording at 1080p video at its native resolution, not to mention 178-degree viewing angles that should let you share that handheld movie with others around you. The Iconia Tab A700 is powered by a quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and comes with the latest version of Android, version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
While the specifications are identical to the Acer’s Iconia Tab A510 followed by the same chassis, 32GB of flash storage (expandable with up to 64GB microSD cards), the same 10-point multitouch capacitive digitizer, and the same 1.3GHz Tegra 3 silicon powering Android 4.0 with Acer’s software on top. Other specifications on the Acer Iconia Tab A700 include Dolby Mobile 3 technology, 5.1 channel surround sound over HDMI to your HDTV.
The Iconia Tegra 3 will go live for pre-order today for $450 for the 32GB version. There’s also an LTE version of the Iconia Tab A700 on its way.
